The qualities of our Alaskan Malamutes Kameron Del Biagio, Shada, Vicky, Ares Del Biagio and Norton Del Biagio, who have lived with us and our five children in Assisi since 2016, immediately recognized in international contexts, convinced us to dedicate ourselves to this project animated by passion and respect, with which we make ourselves promoters of a cultural heritage to preserve and enhance.

Alaskan Malamute:
The FCI Standard.

The Alaskan Malamute, one of the oldest sled dogs in the Arctic, is a powerful and substantial dog, with a deep chest and a strong and very muscular body. Well placed on the limbs, placed it gives the impression of a lot of mobility and proud bearing, with an erect head and attentive eyes that show interest and curiosity. The head is wide. The ears are triangular and erect when the dog is in attention.

The snout is voluminous, and narrows only slightly from the beginning to the truffle; it is not pointed or long, but it is not squat. The hair is thick, with a rough covering coat, of sufficient length to protect the woolly undercoat. The Malamutes are of different colors. Characteristics the markings on the muzzle: a cap on the head, the muzzle or all white or marked with a strip and / or a mask. The tail is rich in hair, carried on the back, and looks like a waving feather.
